Below you'll find a selection of some of the most popular courses that we offer. This is just to give you an idea of what we do. If you can't find the exact course you're interested in, don't worry. Just get in contact and we'll help you to plan the course that's right for you.
Intro to Bouldering
For those with little or no experience of bouldering. This day will be based at one of the beautiful bouldering spots in the Lake District such as Kentmere, Langdale or Carrock Fell. You'll learn how to choose problems that are right for you, move well over the rock, descend safely, spot your partner and how to look after the crag.
Learn to Lead
If you're already a competent indoor climber and you're ready to take things outside, this is the course for you. Depending on your experience and your future climbing aspirations, this course can be anything from 2 days to 5. We recommend coming on this course with a partner but we can do it 1:1 as well.
Performance Trad Climbing
This course is aimed at those who already have some experience of trad lead climbing. It can be for anyone looking to push into the next grade but is probably best suited to those looking to move into the E grades. Fine tune your tactics. Learn to rest more efficiently, route read well and place gear quickly and safely.
Intro to Multi Pitch
Whether you're already leading single pitch routes or you've done a small amount of climbing and fancy a proper adventure, this course will introduce you to the joy of multi pitch climbing. From mountain routes to sea cliffs, we can take you into these wild environments and show you how to keep yourself safe and having fun.
Multi Pitch Masterclass
Develop the skills you already have. Learn to be slick on belays and avoid twists. Descend safely and build a toolbox of problem solving techniques. Learn to climb efficiently so that you can do multiple multi pitch routes in a day.
Guided Climbing
From the sea cliffs of Cornwall to the North Face of Ben Nevis and everything in between. Got a dream route that you've always wanted to climb but don't have a partner? Just get in contact and let us know what you want to go and do.

Mountaineering
Intro to Scrambling
A fun introduction to more adventurous terrain in the mountains. Ideal for those with some hill walking experience but suitable for novices too. Take on classic Lake District adventures such as Striding Edge on Helvellyn or Jacks Rake on Pavey Ark.
Intro to Roped Scrambling
A mixture of being guided on classic grade 3 scrambles and being taught how to move over consequential terrain whilst using a rope to protect yourself and your partner.
Intro to Mountaineering
Learn the skills to move efficiently and safely over technical mountain terrain. From graded scrambles to easier rock climbs.
Mountaineering Masterclass
Over the course of at least 3 days, learn all the skills to to become proficient in the mountains. From pitched scrambling to moving together, moving up, down and across safely. Judgement calls and rescue techniques.
Scotland's Great Ridges
Tower Ridge, The Aonach Eagach Traverse, Curved Ridge, Liathac, The Cuillin Ridge.... The list goes on.

Winter
Lake District Guiding
Enjoy a guided walk in the Lake District fells in full winter conditions. Whether it's one of the big ones such as Scafell Pike or Helvellyn, or something a little more tame such as Loughrigg, the Lake District has so much to offer in the winter.
Scotland Guiding
Ben Lomond to Ben Hope and everything in between. The munroes of Scotland are a magical place to be in winter, but they can also feel a little intimidating when covered in deep snow. If you'd just like to bag some summits without the worry of navigating, or if you're keen to develop the skills to become a competent winter hill walker, we can guide you through it all.
Winter Skills
From navigation to snow interpretation, walking in crampons to preventing a fall with an ice axe. We offer winter skills courses in Scotland throughout the winter and in The Lake District when there's enough winter!
