Hi, I'm Dave. Thanks for visiting my site. I provide climbing and mountaineering guiding and instruction in the Lake District and throughout the UK.

I have over 30 years of personal climbing experience and have climbed extensively throughout the UK as well as trips to the Alps, Africa and Asia. I've been working as an outdoor instructor for 15 years and I hold a range of qualifications including: Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor and Winter Mountain Leader. I also hold a degree in Outdoor Leadership and I'm a full member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors.

If you book a course with me you'll most likely have me as your instructor. Occasionally I might employ someone else to help me with the delivery. Everyone who works for me is a close personal friend, a highly qualified and experienced instructor, and fully insured.
